in last week, i  borrowed a book.  the  title is “Teaching English  as a FL in primary school” it is interesting book. i think  it is useful for this subject.

Language Learning characteristics of young learner.

teaching young learners require  a major difference in approach from teaching adults. One of the most obvious differences between these groups is motivation, that is, the purpose for which each group is studying the language and factors that keep their interest alive. It has been suggested that gaining an understanding of young learners’ need, interests, and developmental processes takes precedence over other considerations that might weigh more heavily in teaching English to adult learners ( Cameron, 2001; Moon, 2000;  Rixon, 1992b)
